2014 Turo Tax Premier

I have been using turbo tax for 19 years. I like the format and the fact that I can save my records digitally. I am noticing more and more commercial advertisement. If the product was free I would understand, but I paid for the product and I don't need you shoving products down my throat. Make the product advertisement an option, and don't detour me to the pages and force me to find my way back to the forms
What's great about it: Easy to upload previous information
What's not so great: To much advertisement

Turbotax errors with filing MD 502CR

Two errors by TurboTax:
1) the filing copy only included one (DE) of the two states (DE & MD) where taxes were paid and should be credited to MD taxes.
2) neither 502CR forms were included in the filing copy, although they are required. Should there even be two 502CR forms or should they have been combined on one 502CR?

Perfect Example of how it Should be Done!!!

Outstanding customer service with easy to follow tutorials and Q/A that helps navigate the program. Completed my taxes and filed them all within the same 2 hour period. P.S. and my tax return averages 132 pages!!!
What's great about it: Easy to use with outstanding customer service to back up any questions you might have.
What's not so great: I didn't create the program

Sale of rental property

Program asked me if I sold property. Since this was sale of property that was formally previous residence it was not clear to me what to do. Also was not very clear what I should declare if rented whole year. I think I figured it out and it got it right. Also computations for sale of property did not interface automatically. I had to search for sale of rental property. When i found it, all went well. Finally electronic submission of State return was probably unnecessary since I owed no money, but I felt compelled to do it anyway.
What's great about it: Once there computations were relatively easy
What's not so great: Program although asked me if I sold rental property, did not take me to sale computations automatically.

I have been using turbotax for many years. I switch from the online version to the downloaded version. I believe that the downloaded version provides better detail for referral later on.
What's great about it: Easy to understand, organized and efficient
What's not so great: Would like to add notes to supporting details
