i will try another prodct next year

I was forced to pay for a higher version to do less that I did last year! This is incredibly unfriendly.
What's great about it: does the job
What's not so great: I ended up paying twice what i expected.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Being able to walk through all of the categories really helped. Knowing that I was not going to forget something was really good. I also like that you know where you stood with refund or owed.
What's great about it: I really appreciate the walk-throughs
What's not so great: Not having all of the items in Its Deductible

Another easy and clearly explained tax season

Another excellent year using TurboTax. The program walked me through absolutely everything and the help screens really were helpful.
What's great about it: Step by Step Guidance on just about everything
What's not so great: A little more pricey than the competition
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The choice to have Turbo Tax walk you through the steps in each category is very easy to understand and use. It was a snap to prepare the return this year.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. I think even easier than last year.
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing.

Clunky, slow and missing some key features

It took over an hour to get going due to the ridiculous updates and installation process.
The interface is extremely slow and clunky.
You should be able to override the stupid final check - for instance, I repaid my first time homebuyer credit yet the software kept giving me an error because it was looking for me selling my house in the previous year.
The cost to e-file and buy additional states is ridiculous.
Guess what? This is the last time I'll use TurboTax!

didnt need a sched c but couldn't delete it

got all the way thru return until final check,,which had me fill in info for a sched c form,,,I didn't need a sched c form and it would not allow me to delete the form,,,had to put home address in there, and for name of business, i had to write tt would not allow to delete form c....

Excelleny Yax Prep Program

I have used Turbo tax for many years and every year the program seems to get easier and is more organized. Love it a bunch
