What's great about it: Was very easy to us.
What's not so great: Didint explain refinaincing of settlement costs as well as I would have liked it to.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Year after year this is the best, most cost affective way to go when filing taxes.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: none

More problems than usual!

See pros and cons - the two issues noted in cons were the first issues that I've ever had with Turbo Tax since I started several years ago. I really hope I'm not forced to buy the Premier Version next year if I have another single, simple cap gain situation. That would be very disappointing - could cause me to look elsewhere for a product that would be less expensive.
What's great about it: Still feel the tool is very good - beats doing manual calculations and, when finished, I felt good about the coverage.
What's not so great: Lot's of trouble importing from It's Deductible - didn't like having to upgrade to Premier to report 1 simple cap gain

Easy, but slow links

Something was clearly wrong. Picking an institution (like Vanguard) took minutes of "updating" before even asking for login information. The actual data transfer was almost instantaneous.
You pay a lot for convenience with the added state fees and Federal -file charge.
What's great about it: Couldn't be easier to follow, but my taxes are pretty simple
What's not so great: Importing from financial partners very slow

Great Software

Got taxes done with minimum grief. Most of the time spent was gathering and organizing data from Quicken and other sources for the itemized deductions.
I highly recommend this product...been using it for years.

misleading

It's outrageous that you removed investments and rental property this year from your TurboTax Deluxe which I have used for years without problem. What's more you did it with NO warning so I would have wasted money buying the wrong product if I didn't happen to read about it in the newspaper. So I was forced to buy the more expensive product to file the very same tax report which worked fine with Deluxe in previous years.
I certainly hope that you will listen to your frustrated customers and restore the Deluxe product to its former full usage capacity next year.

Getting Better Every Year!

Allowing me to go back over again and again has become easy and smooth. In the earlier years I would lose my place; start over & worksheet became fragmented. Worse yet, I couldn't get back to a worksheet I had already done.
