We switched from a CD format on our HP to download app for our MacBook Air. We had to start over inputing info. However the interview format was just as easy to use. Would recommend the product.

Good product

I have used TurboTax for many years and have found it to be a reliable and easy to use product. I was VERY disappointed to find that the Deluxe version I used for so long was suddenly downgraded by having investment forms removed. I don't have a lot of investments and even though I got a free *upgrade*, I will now be required to pay more next year for the Premier version for the one form I need to use - or change to a different product or service. This does not delight me at all.
What's great about it: relatively easy to use with fairly good help available
What's not so great: Some help tips obscure and not enough detail; deluxe version that I have used downgraded

Great program

I had an issue this year that I ended up going outside to get help with: taxes for my deceased son. I would rather have just used my own TurboTax program, but I can only use it for myself. But other than that, I have used the program for years with little problem.
What's great about it: Easy to use, and follow
What's not so great: Doesn't automatically remove federal taxes from non-applicable state taxes.

I'm now retired and have always used TurboTax throughout my working years. It's always been straightforward and I hope accurate.
What's great about it: Easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Always great but check your firewall before star

What's great about it: Have used Turbo Tax for about 10 years +. Always a God Send in doing a great job of everything related to tax prep.
What's not so great: Ran into a problem this time because of my firewalls blocking out the final purchases and efiles. Got to check before.
