Easy to Use

I've used Turbo Tax for around 10 years, it is easy, quick and accurate. But this year I did my return in Feb., saved it and went back today to file and it was corrupted-and NONE of any of my previous returns would open-all gone
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Totally corrupted by 2013 and then lost all info for 2014

The ease of paying taxes

Loved being able to import last year's info and get a history of my taxes. Loved the fact that whenever I had a question, I could click on more info. Loved the fact that Turbo tax gave me advice on which aspects I needed to focus on and which were uncommon for tax filers. I also greatly appreciated the audit review and being able to know that I hadn't missed anything or made errors.

Waiting for Turbotax refund

Repetitious steps required for editing and taking things in my own convenient order.
What's great about it: smooth sailing
What's not so great: Extreme repetitious steps; can't just get to an item for editing without out going directly to it.

Years of Excellence

It was the usual breeze to complete and submit my taxes this year. The basic info was easily imported for minimal editing and it was done. I am glad I did not decide to try another product this year. Everything worked smoothly. During the review, items needing correction were clearly identified and the needed correction was appropriately stated.
What's great about it: I was able to import most of the info needed. It was quick.
What's not so great: The confusion with the release of the package tin stores.

Great product, few requests

1. When it asks about "Carryovers" from prior years, I wish it would explain whether it had picked up data from prior years' imported returns. I'm not sure if I have to look at last years or if it checked for me.
2. When there are errors, I wish it would give the option to take me to the Step-by-Step question where I would fill in the corrected data -- rather than only the form option for correction.

With Free Fix, Turbo Tax was Great Again!

I've used Turbo Tax for almost twenty years. Twice I had complicated issues and used a "pro." Those were the only times I had a question from the IRS! If they maintain Deluxe as it is I will remain a loyal customer.
What's great about it: Beats the Tax Pros
What's not so great: Unannounced deletions from Deluxe Version

Everything was fine when I was filling it out, but I got to the final review and it asked how many total miles on the vehicle used on the rental property. I had calculated the number, but had no way of filling it in in the review process. I felt like I was going aroound in circles.
What's great about it: options to independent use or follow program
What's not so great: final steps were confusing and contradictory
