Awesome Tax Program Year After Year

Year after year I continue to use Intuit Turbo Tax, and year after year they come through top of the line. And year after year they improve on the ease with which to utilize their program, really awesome.
What's great about it: Simple, covers everything in detail, great checking of inputs.
What's not so great: Negligable

Turbo Investment Premier 2014 w/State

Have used TTax for several years, and this 2014 was the worst of all the software releases. Took hours if not days longer to complete taxes, having to re-enter data multiple times. Nothing worse than wondering in the back of your mind if something else got dropped.
Felt better when done and final numbers were consistant with previous indicating Fed/WISC State 'refund' windows.

I love my Refund

I have been using TurboTax since version 1 was released. This is the only Tax software I use. Each year the design gets easier and easier to use with more and more flexibility. I don't have to do a lot of thinking, just answer the questions.

What's great about it: I don;t have to perform any calculation. The forms are filled in for me.
What's not so great: None I can think of, TurboTax is near perfection.

Have used Turbo Tax for 15+ years. I went to H&R Block office one year and had to explain to them that there was a state tax deduction for long term care insurance in New York. They seemed to have no idea some of the income on my Fidelity Investment statement was tax free. Tax preparers were not well educated. Turbo Tax walks you through all possibilities.
What's great about it: Super easy to follow
What's not so great: Had trouble getting a view of schedule A from the view forms option

What did I do before TurboTax?

I have been a Turbo Tax user for quite a few years. I gather all needed information ahead of time and find the software very easy to use -- not intimidating at all! Turbo Tax makes the process of completing your tax return go very smoothly, and it "knows" what questions to ask. I let it walk me through everything and feel confident that nothing was missed. Couldn't imagine doing all this by hand again.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and I like having the choice of walking through everything or selecting what I want to use.
