if you do this again I will not use Turbotax
What's great about it: i have been satisfied with turbotax from 2004 thru 2013
What's not so great: 2014 Turbotax did NOT furnish the same forms with my deluxe copy. It was a mess and your reputation suffers

Good but not great

Couldn't find a way to apply my Virginia state refund to next year's taxes. When I tried to use the help section I was only given information about Indiana's refunds. This is a major hole in your system.
What's great about it: The step by step instructions made it easy to file

Great product, easy to use for normal tax returns.
What's great about it: Consistent continuity
What's not so great: Certain tax lines can be tricky - can't rely 100% on the software
Pros: I bought or sold investments

SLOW

TurboTax was loaded from a CD. Initially I could enter data into just a few forms before the program would lock up. I restarted the computer at least 5 times. Finally, the program settled down and I was able to finish entering the data.
What's great about it: Figures things out
What's not so great: SLOW
Pros: I bought or sold investments

You upgraded me to premier at no cost but I expect it will cost next year.
Am disappointed that the standard edition did not include all the form in previous editions
Next year I'll evaluate other software before buying turbotax.

It makes filing your taxes less stressful.
What's great about it: Let's you examine each step of the process to ensure you do not miss anything
What's not so great: Last year it did not tell me I needed to submit a 5329 form nor did it tell me this year either.
