Better

A back door Roth IRA is perfectly legal, and necessary for high wage earners, which are many of your customers. Why is it difficult to enter this information each year? Why don't you make it straight forward. Every year I need to go into blogs to figure out how to enter the data because your program does not make it straight forward. I don't understand why not.
Also, after going through the interview, if you need to go back and change info it is not straight forward how to do that, and not sure when it updates everything.
What's great about it: Imported data flawlessly, fiarly easy to use.
What's not so great: Still no back door Roth IRA Support

I've used TurboTax for years and have always been very happy with the product.
What's great about it: caught all of the details missed in completing the forms
What's not so great: I got caught in the forced upgrade to the higher version

This program works better than any previous tax program and is economical with easy to follow directions.

Done in a day!

Overall this is a great program. I have a slightly complicated return, and I was able to breeze through in 1 day. My biggest criticism is around the help forms -- they aren't really helpful. They give the IRS guidelines but don't really translate them into a lay-person's vocabulary.
Bottom line I will continue using this product for years to come!
What's great about it: Mostly simple, intuitive Q&A to enter data
What's not so great: Help forms don't really translate "IRS Speak" too well

I LOVE TurboTax

Using TurboTax for many years now. Its the best way for me to" git er done!" No worry about math mistakes, and filing is simple and easy. See ya next year !!
What's great about it: UI gets better each year
What's not so great: Still takes me 5 hours to install, run and find all my receipts ;)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Made Simple and Cheaper than my Accountant

I started out on the free service side f turbo tax online. I found it frustrating going from screen to screen. It just took too long and my internet was working perfectly. Not sure why this happened.
I decided when I got halfway through the free form, to upgrade to the Premier per their suggestion. Since I couldn't get it to upgrade on the internet site, I bought the Premier package. I couldn't be happier. I finished both Federal and State returns within an hour. Simple, easy, and well explained pages. I e-filed my returns and I'm done before the deadline for the first time in 3 years. And the amazing part is I did it myself for 1/3 the price of my accountant and far less phone calls.
I was recommended to try this by a friend and I will be happy to recommend it to all my friends.
