Easy to use

Turbo tax is easy to use. I've used it for over ten years and have never had any problems. It carries all past information forward to the current year.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use.
What's not so great: The fact that I had to buy one level up from last year. Intuit will refund money if that's the case.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Victim of ID Fraud

Turbo Tax is very helpful in preparing taxes but needs to upgrade their security concerning E-file. I was a victim of fraud and the information can have only come from my 2013 e-filed return.
What's great about it: Fast and easy to use
What's not so great: Makes you repeat steps when you log out and return

Garbage. Will never buy future TurboTax versions.

Well it worked

In many ways, TurboTax is a great product, but I would have been furious if I had to pay for the Premier version. I use options when I trade, and I had a miserable experience trying to match my buys and sells with TurboTax. My broker's statement had the trades grouped by company. TurboTax had them in entirely random order. There were trades that the broker reported to the IRS and others that they didn't report but that I needed to report. In my tax documents, the two types of trades were separate - in TurboTax they were all jumbled together. It took me hours to match my documentation with TurboTax. Help is virtually non-existent especially in reporting option trades. One user suggested mailing in my brokerage form rather than dealing with TurboTax.
What's great about it: I was able to use it
What's not so great: It took me over 6 hours to use it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

A terrible experience

There are several misgivings with the application
1. Its incredibly slow
2. I have had errors every time I try to print a PDF from the application and then I get kicked out
3. It freezes my computer very often while calculating.
4. In my opinoin this app is not worth the money I paid for it and will certainly not be using this again.

What's great about it: Imported previous information from prior turbotax filings
What's not so great: Too many to list

Has some quirks about the state returns.
What's great about it: The step by step process made Turbotax easy to follow.
What's not so great: I don't know why Turbotax requires me to file a Florida state return.

This is going on 18 years if using TT. I haven't had too many gripes. Most annoying is when there is a message that does not include a link and is not clear on what is meant. It would help if there was a continue button at the top of the page, as I have to scroll to the bottom to proceed after each step. Overall a good experience
What's great about it: Quick, complete when provided the free upgrade
What's not so great: Some messages are a bit cryptic
