TurboTax - dependable, year in and year out

I have used TurboTax for several years to do our taxes. As our finances change, TurboTax is there to help with the questions that arise.
What's great about it: ease of use, informative
What's not so great: not much
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy to follow , leads you thru each step. would be difficult to mess up. This allows an average person to do a difficult tax.
This allows you to prepare without research, or without knowledge of tax laws and feel confident that the return is correct.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and have always been pleased with the product even when I owed taxes. The easy to understand instructions and questions make me feel more confident about my return. Keep up the good work.

This year was even easier than last year and I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years.
Thank you for using layman terms which made it easier to understand what and why figures were needed.

What's not so great: Didn't let me know if there were any there were any carry overs.

Turbo Tax makes Tax Time less stressful!!

Intuit continues to improve the product and reduce the effort that it takes to complete your tax return. Highly recommended way to complete your tax returns and be confident that you are paying the correct and required amount.
What's great about it: Intuitive interface, helpful wizards, excellent table of contents, sufficient help and guidance in the app

Long Term User Frustrated with Form Delays

Have used Turbo Tax for years and am happy enough with it to continue using it.
That said, in the past two years, I was prevented from filing my return as soon as I was ready because Turbo Tax didn't have the forms i needed ready. With all the scammers out there who try to file on your SSN to get your refund before you do, this is a real problem.
Turbo Tax maintains that "the forms ... have not been released by the taxing authority...", but this is BS, because you can cross-check this claim with the IRS, who will verify that the forms have been released. Turbo Tax is just slow getting them loaded into their system.
Given that I am now paying turbo tax 4 times as much to use and file with their program as I did a few years ago, I find this frustrating.
Fortunately, my recent retirement, sales of real property, thus getting rid of all my rental properties will grossly simplify my future year returns, so I should be able to go back to nearly free filing online.
What's great about it: Easy to use, Accurate, Easy to Save Returns as .pdf Files
What's not so great: Price Continues to Skyrocket

What's great about it: very desriptive instructions and scheens to follow
What's not so great: None found after using Turbo Tax for several years.
