A bit of noise when cycle starts

It's a little noisy when the compressor starts, other than that it's been good.

My two 50 yr. old fridge & freezer are better products

I special ordered a Kitchenaid fridge thinking it a better product. The stainless steel front (not sides is difficult to maintain. The fridge portion is so low to the ground that I must get on my knees to look into it. The glass shelves slide so easily that food falls through. Now the freezer door opens & stays open when the refrigerator door is closed. And I had to special order the icemaker because the fridge didn't come with one. It is too small & ice falls out. I really hate this refrigerator. And Whirlpool doesn't stand by its product after 12 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would buy another whirlpool appliance in a second I have always had the best luck with this brand of appliances, if the cost is more it is worth it.

This is a great refrigerator. The level of cool is acceptable and I really like my fridge to be quite cool. The drawers work for their intended purpose but are a pain to pull open and close. It seems a bit loud at times and the ice maker seems to make a lot of noise as well. Nothing that is really a problem though.

I purchased refridgerator for the garage. It looks great out there:) It holds a ton of soda and those dishes that don't fit in the house fridge when having a lot of people over for party. We put frozen pizzas, ice cream and popsicles in it as well. It's so nice to have that extra freezer/fridge space. It seems to run a lot. However, that may be because it's been so warm; it shouldn't run that much during the fall/winter/spring months.

Just right as I am a widow and this unit is just big enough for me. Did not want a lot of special features and this meets what I wanted very well.
