I purchase a 18 cu.ft. Top freezer unit to fit my small kitchen. I shopped around and found that Whirlpool was the only Company that offered a small unit with a built in ice maker in the freezer and didn't charge extra. I live on a very very limited income so this was a blessing to be able to have a great product with a little extra to make my life easier. Thank you .

I wish appliance manufactures would realize the people that live in a small homes and need smaller appliances still would like a quality product. I was disgusted shopping for a refrigerator because there was not a great selection for the size I needed. Out of frustration, I bought this one. Everything about it is cheap.The quality of the black surface bothers me the most. There are a lot of defects in the paint. It is not that easy returning a refrigerator so I kept it. My last Whirlpool fridge lasted 10 years. This one will not make it that long.

This 18 cu ft is perfect for my one person household. It replaces a 20 cu ft that was 15 years old. Runs quietly, black color surface easy to maintain. I just wish there was a light in the freezer like my old fridge. Being used to it, I now find myself shuffling things around to see what is there.

Well I am ok with my Fridge although I did like my previous Frigidaire better reference space and arrangement of the inside. Also do not like the fact that the outside material smudges unlike my old Frigidaire.

Not what I expected

I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator and washer because all of my prior appliances were purchased over 22 years ago, all had been Whirlpool and I'd never had any problems with any of them. The first delivery of my new appliances resulted in damage to the refrigerator so it had to be replaced. The doors on the replacement had a strange film on them. It looked like the protective plastic wrap was put on the doors before the finish was dry. Another frig was delivered to replace the second one and it had the same "film" on it. It cannot be rubbed off, whatever it is, it's dried into the finish and since the frig is black, it's quite noticeable. After 3 replacements, I'm done dealing with it. I'm very disappointed.

Easy Cleaning

I had this delivered on 10-08-2014. I could not of ben more happy that the drawers and door cabinets come out so easy for future cleaning.Extremely happy with this purchase so far. I'll keep buying Whirlpool. Just wuish we had paid the little extra to get Stainless as we did n the Stove.

Very Loud

Ref works fine, keeps everything cold, but is very loud when it runs. Also has no light in freezer, just didn't notice when we bought it. We have a limited space, so not many choices when space is narrow.
