The performance of this product was great....when it actually worked. I only had it for a few weeks and it just died.

Targus Notebook Chill Mat

This is a great product for your notebook. It makes it alot more comfortable using my laptop. It keeps the laptop much cooler and you cannot hear it running. All you do is plug it in to the USB port on the laptop and it stays cool. Great idea.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have purchased several chill pads and for the price they should last longer than 2 weeks, with this one causes an error, as well the fan blades fly off and the fans work intermittently, i owned 2 of these only because i got one as a gift, neither lasted longer than 2 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great and started out quiet but after about three weeks the fan bearings began to make noise when the ambient temperature is below 75 degrees F or so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One bad chill mat.

Don't buy this! I got one and within two weeks, one of the two fans stopped working. Within two more weeks, the other one stopped working. I now have a chill pad that doesn't chill. The problem seems to be where the cord plugs into the unit itself. Buyer beware!
