I found the BH10LS0 an excellent addition for my desktop. It was extremely easy to install (just followed the instructions). The mechanism is very smooth and very quiet.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Just purchased new high end desktop. Install was very easy - plug into the SATA port and go. Drive burns DVDs, dual layer DVDs and Blu-Rays very fast. Pretty good software comes with drive. I have found no need to upgrade yet.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: none

Good drive over all, support is questionable

It is very quiet during movie playback which is nice since you want to hear the movie not the drive. Movie playback appears to be smooth. This drive was very easy to install. HD video, and appear to play perfectly, I'm passing the audio via SPDIF to my receiver, and it is being passed in the format that is selected in the movie.
I am just a little concerned about the firmware updating. LG's web site does not have any support, firmware, or KB information posted for this drive yet (currently July 22, 2010. The drive does come with an auto firmware update utility, but it does not list the current version installed, and does not list any version available (it is blank). So I am crossing my fingers and hoping that my drive has the latest version installed.
In my book to get a great review, the product and support have to be steller. The product appears to be great, but the lack of support information about this product on the site drops points in the support area.
To be clear, I have not tried their phone support yet, but it is a little silly that I need to just to find out what firmware version my drive has.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

Excellent addition to my MACPro.

Bought this to add Blu-Ray burning capability to my MACPro. Installation was super easy. Burning is working great through Toast Titanium. I have not tried out the LightScribe features yet.
One strange thing I have noticed is that the drive "accesses" itself without any disk being loaded periodically. I think this is a shortcoming of OS X Snow Leapord though and not the hardware.
Pros: Performance, Quality
