Excellent Quality & Exceptional Value

This value priced DVD player sure packs a punch! Picture quality is exceptional! Plays pretty much any disc I put in it without skipping a beat. Upscaling is terrific! For the price you can't beat it! Definitely an exceptional value! The only thing I don't care for is the length of time it takes for the tray to open. Outside of that it is a five star performer!
Pros: excellent picture quality
Cons: very slow to open tray
I would recommend this to a friend!

One Achilles Heel

This unit is great, except for one flaw: Every once in a while it spazzes out and the color will be horribly wrong when you turn it on. The home screen will be orange instead of the normal blue, and if you attempt to play anything, it will be very distorted. The solution: unplug it and then plug it back in. It will then be good to go for the next few months. An annoyance to be sure, but it happens seldom enough that I live with it.
I live with this flaw because I really like the unit otherwise. It isn't very picky with formats and the USB jack is nice, although I don't use that feature near as much as I thought I would. It's also nice that it can remember where you left off on a DVD, even if you replace the DVD with something else for a while.
Pros: usb jack, not picky with disc formats
Cons: freaks out every once in a while requiring unplug
I would recommend this to a friend!
