maximum surface area

I have had the Circulon Symmetry 12"" skillet for 2 years now; it still releases great. What I love about this pan is the cooking surface area. Many skillets say 12"" inches but the surface area will be more like 10"" and then have a high wall. This pan has a lot more surface area to sear proteins, brown vegetables without crowding them, or for boiling spaghetti noodles in the skillet without breaking them up. (if you've never done this, it uses a lot less water and boils so much faster...you'll love it...google it) The handle stays cool on the stove top. If you wanna roast a chicken, you can do that in this skillet and put it in the oven up to 400 degrees! Easy clean up by putting it in the dishwasher. my only complaint- the handle has an opening for hanging the skillet which a small amount of water get in when in the dishwasher so just make sure you flip the pan upright over the sink to get the little bit of water out of there before it drips on your clean dry dishes.

Twin Pack Savings

Arrived in good condition. Buying in twin pack seemed to save on price. Have owned Circulon in the past. Bottom heat layers are new and non-stick coating is improved.

Everything sticks!

I would say 9 out of every 10 eggs I cook need to be scraped off the pan, and there is always a brown film created from the egg. I've tried low heat, very low heat, butter, but everything sticks. I have not used any non-stick spray or tried the dishwasher, so not sure why they are so bad.

Someone at Circulon doesn't know how to use a ruler. These are much smaller than past Circulon pans, and are no longer the size they claim them to be. This is a big problem for me since my expensive glass lids no longer fit. These pans are not 11 inches, they are 10-1/2 inches. The 9 inch pan is 8-1/2 inches. Circulon used to be a high quality product, however, now they are measuring the outside of the flared top instead of the inside where the lid fits. I have older Circulon fry pans and they are clearly stamped 11 inches, and these are not 11 inches. Also, these look small and cheap.

Don't Waste Your Money - Not Worth The Premium Price
on July 16, 2019

These pans were nice at first, but food began sticking after 8-9 months. We contacted Circulon about the ""No Hassle Warranty."" We were told that they would not honor the warranty due to ""abuse."" There was no abuse - we were careful to follow the instructions, including not using cooking spray, not using metal utensils, and not cooking with high heat. We did not even put them in the dishwasher (although I believe they are supposed to be dishwasher safe). We primarily use these for breakfast (omelets and pancakes WHICH ARE NOT COOKED ON HIGH HEAT ANYWAY) and it is impossible now - everything sticks. We would have been better off buying a cheaper brand and planning to replace them once a year - at least then we would be getting what we paid for.

Size of both frying pan is just right

Love both the size of my flying pan. The small pan is good for frying a single egg or cooking for 1. The bigger pan is great for making a quick breakfast - bacon strips on 1 corner and hash brown on the other side :)

Love the 12"" skillet! Wish you could buy it individually.

We absolutely LOVE our Symmetry cookware set. Our favorite piece of the whole set that we use is the 12"" skillet that comes with this pair. It's a great size for all kinds of meals, from bacon for breakfasat, to those mac'n'cheese skillet meals when our family is in a rush for a meal. We use that particular piece 85% of the time when we cook, so much so that we've finally worn out the non-stick surface (apparently from over heating it on our induction cooktop?), but are coming back for two more sets of them since we use the 12"" skillet so much. My only complaint, if you could really call it that, is that Circulon should sell these 12"" skillets individually. In fact, all pieces should be made available individually (including lids), so those of us that use them every day can replace pieces that are worn out, damaged, or we decide that a couple particular pieces are the most used and having an extra one around would be handy. As it stands, we have far more 10"" skillet style pieces that we know what do with, but are in need of a couple 12"" skillets. Unfortunately, you have to buy the set, so now we'll have two more 10"" skillets to add to the collection of 4 that we already don't use nearly as much... Overall, I love this Circulon line, since it's the perfect fit for us being non-stick, dishwasher safe, and induction compatible. On top of all that, it also looks great! Keep up the great work Circulon, but also listen to your customers! Let us buy individual pieces!
