Definitely a Keeper!

Though aware of the Rachel Ray branded cookware, this is the first time I have tried any (the Rachael Ray Classic Brights Hard-Anodized 8-Qt. Covered Oval Pasta Pot with Pour Spout - Gray with Orange Handles which I had not seen before), and it is truly a great piece to cook with. The oval shape in unexpected but not only stands out among my other pots for its distinctive design but is actually well-suited to cooking pasta. The shape, along with the convenient pour spout, helps minimize splashing of hot water when draining which means less chance if burns, and it fits conveniently on the stove top with multiple pots so cooking a large meal is a breeze - no waiting and switching out, keeping warm, etc. while trying to cook other foods. The quality is excellent, the pot a good weight (not too heavy to handle when filled but certainly substantial) and is easy to clean. The stay cool handles on the pot and matching lid are also a nice feature. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves cooking and am looking forward to adding other pieces from this collection to my own.

Excellent pot has many uses

I love Rachael Ray Classic Brights Hard-Anodized 8-Qt. Covered Oval Pasta Pot with Pour Spout. Excellent pot has many uses. I have used it to cook pasta, a large pot of soup, chili, etc. It heats evenly and cleans up quickly. I especially like the fact that I can cook long pasta without having to break it. I Love the design it is very wide and long oval shape means you can rapidly bring water to a boil and add long pasta. It also means you can use less water and heat it more efficiently. Moreover, the shape means that this large pan uses up less space on the stove since it's narrow, I can fit my big dutch oven on the burner behind this pasta pot. The spout works Great. Love the silicon handles. Stay cool, and they are very grippy. You feel in control when your pouring off the pasta water into your sink. Very happy with Rachael Ray Oval Pasta Pot and highly recommend it to my friends and family members and others.

My new go to pan

I have to say i love the Rachael Ray Hard Anodized 8 Quart oval pasta pan. It makes it very very easy to drain the water from the pasta with the spout. So far i have used this pan for pasta, home made soup, and chili. It cleans nicely. My family and i hate washing pans. We always argue who is going to wash pans. Lol. Not with this pan. I havent had any problems with food sticking. I would recommend this pan to anybody especially people who love pasta. I am also going to consider buying other products from her line of cookware.

I love this pot!!! This has become my favorite pot... and my husbands as well! It is great as a pasta pot, but wow... use it for so much more. Soups. Browning hamburger. Pasta sauce. This pot heats up evenly. Is amazingly easy to clean up. I just love and recommend this pot! 5+ stars!

I absolutely love this pot! It has been my go-to pot now! This pot is great for boiling pasta, and then draining the water of is so easy with the pour spout on the edge. I have used this pot for cooking sauces and soups also. Browning hamburger and then adding my tomato sauce or soup stock is a dream. This pot hand-washes up so nicely. I can not say enough good things about this pot.

This is my go to everything pot

I am in love with this pot. It honestly is great for everything. I have used this pot more in 2 months than all my other pots combined. It is great for boiling corn on the cob. Not only does it heat evenly , I can drain the water with the lid on with ease and not have to worry about getting splashed with hot water or dirty a strainer.

I absolutely loved pasta, so when I got this pot I was so excited. I used it recently to make spaghetti. I was actually able to use that one pot to fry my hamburger, onions and peppers, as well as making the sauce. And cleaning it was a breeze, no scrub brushes or sore hands! Definitely a must have for any pasta lover !
