Food chopper doesn't work

I have owned this dishwasher for 4 years and we have to work on it about every six months to either clean or fix the food chopper. We now even clean rinse our dishes hoping this thing won't plug up. You know it is getting bad when the glasses start having spots and aren't clean. Then you might as well call the repairman.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
