Not as good as plug-in rechargeable

The price was good and I was happy to find and electric at a low price. Besides, I don't have a place in my bathroom to plug it in anyway. The performance goes down with the life of the battery, but it's not bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The sonic battery toothbrush is easy to use and to transport. I bought it to use at my vacation home since I don't like to leave appliances plugged in while not there. It fits the bill exactly. I also plan to take it along on trips, especially foreign ones since I don't need anyspecial convertors to make it work. It is light compact, and easy to use.

This toothbrush gets my teeth very clean when it does work. I am on my third replacement toothbrush now!! I am going to spend the extra money and get an electric one now. My first one lasted for for about a month and a half. They replaced it and my replacement lasted for about 3 weeks!! You better keep a spare toothbrush handy because it will leave you toothbrushless!!
Pros: clean teeth
Cons: does not last long

This product tends to gets corroded if you just use it and then put in it holder on the counter. I now wipe it dry after every use.

This brush is probably the 4 or 5th brush that I have owned. Each brush had to be terminated from use because they just stopped operating because of moisture accumulation and ensuing rust of the insides.
Found that by drying the brush thoroughly after each use - this has alleviated the accumulation of moisture that ruined all the other brushes.
Debris from toothbrushing still accumulates along the grooves on the sides (design flaw) which then need to be cleaned with a toothpick.
Pros: brushes teeth well
Cons: need to dry it thoroughly after each use, grooves accumulate debris

I like the small brush head size and the built in 2 minute timer. my teeth feel very clean after use. As a retired dentist, I would say the SoniCare is the best on the market.
Cons: add the 30 second quadrant timer

Cleaning braces

Best ever toothbrush for teens with braces. My son kept getting complaints from the ortho tech about cleaning his teeth, not one complaint since he has been using his Sonic toothbrush.
