prefer this over the rechargeable unit; I've had 2 AA batteries in this since March and they are still going strong.

Constantly shuts down (30 seconds)

Unit shuts off after 30 seconds, must push start button, re-starts, then shuts down again after 30 seconds, etc. Installed a new battery, the problem continues. I have been through 4 batteries since I bought the unit. Not sure if this is normal?
Pros: do not need a charger. highly portable.
Cons: shuts down after 30 seconds must be re-started.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used a cordless, rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush for years. The disposable battery model is just as efficient and more convenient to use.

The on/off switch is a little difficult but I know it is the modern design of such a switch. I prefer the old design. But the product works the way my old Sonicare product worked, getting my teeth clean.

Love the toothbrush. Dentist said teeth looked better. Replacement heads seem expensive.

I did not have any luck with this product.
Within one month I had to change the batteries twice.
It would not stay on. I ended up returning it for a different
brand. I do not like the way water always gets inside and it gets
gunky, seems like they could come up with a better design.

A good option sonicare toothbrush

I have owned a plug in sonicare for years. I saw this battery operated on sale and could not pass it up. Initially I was delighted with the battery operated model but it just wasn't as powerful as the fully charged plug in model. It is still a very good sonicare sonic toothbrush. It cleans teeth better than anything else I can think of. The sonic action is the best. So for an inexpensive alternative to the sonicare elite etc. this is a good choice.
Pros: price, sonic action, very portable great for travel
Cons: just not as powerful as plug in models
