Greatest replaceable battery toothbrush I've found

I love this toothbrush. It leaves your teeth and gums feeling cleaned and refreshed and is easy on batteries. I left one of these in a motel room and tried a cheaper one out--only to find I was missing my old one. I'd very highly recommend this toothbrush to anyone who wants a good toothbrush that takes AA batteries. I like that they are easily replaced and you don't end up tossing the whole thing when a non-removable battery losses it's soup. This is the second one of these I've owned.
Pros: does a wonderful job, replaceable brush heads, common battery (aa), good reach.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This toothbrush has made me start brushing more often. The size of the brush makes it easy to reach the back and often neglected molars. It leaves my teeth feeling extremely fresh and clean.
Pros: leaves teeth clean
Cons: batteries must be replaced often

I had a hard time getting it to work in the beginning. I retirned the first one and bought a second one since I couldn't get it to work. The second one didn't work at first and took the batteries out and re-installed them (I do know which way they go in) and then it started to work. It was doing fine for about 6 weeks, then quit again. I'll start all over looking over the battery situation tomorrow.

Pros and Cons for the Sonic
on June 16, 2012

My Sonic toothbrush started out working very well and I liked that it was battery rather than having a cord in the bathroom. It then suddenly stopped so I figured it was the batteries, though I thought the time was rather short. I replaced the batteries and it still continually stops and starts so when I go to brush my teeth I never know if it will work or not. Very frustrating!!!
I would never recommend this brand to a friend, I'll go back to a plug any day.
Pros: no cord on sink
Cons: doesn't work consistently
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful toothbrush, cleans effectively, Philips complimentary batteries die quickly

Brush is powerful and effective, leaving teeth feeling quite clean. Only two minor cons: batteries Philips provides have little juice and must be changed almost immediately ; and there is a slight crevice where the brush head meets the base, allowing for old toothpaste to congeal and smell if not cleaned. Do not want to overstate the issues, they are small, and this is a fine brush for the money.

My last DDS visit convinced me for sure. No Cavities! I was hesetant at first as I had never used a power toothbrush before. It was quite a shock the first time and took some getting use to sticking a viberating object in my mouth. Coution is advised not to touch hard parts to teeth of remove from mouth before switching off as the unit will splatter tooth paste everywhere. Keep your lips closed and feel your way through the job, then try to locate the OFF switch. With wet hands I have dropped mine sever times and the cap is taped on now.
Pros: does have wonderfull results, low voltage no power connections of any kind, no recharging to wait for other members to switch, uses less tooth paste, easy clean-up
Cons: slippery when wet, scare the toddlers, splatters, don't tap the teeth with hard parts
I would recommend this to a friend!
