This chopper replaced a Cuisinart that I believe was a 3 cup capacity and over 10 years old. This chopper is a lovely upgrade. It is identical in functionality as my old one but the quality of my hummus is much more creamy and smooth. I love the durability of the Cuisinart brand and the cleanup is a breeze. The removable parts are dishwasher safe. I highly recommend this product and would definitely purchase again.

The Elite 4 cup chopper/grinder is a good unit! The one I received was white and the housing was plastic. The unit is small and light weight and easy to put on/take off the counter.
I use this chopper for smaller amounts for chopping up kale, onions, nuts, spices, etc. The blade is not serrated - a feature that I like because it doesn't tear up veggies like kale, celery, etc.

This model replaced an earlier version that simply wore out. Seems to function well. Improvements: the built-in handle and having the blade assembly in one piece instead of two. Works great for all those small jobs.

I had a smaller version of this, but cracks developed around the blade, and it was very expensive to buy the blade only for the old grinder. It made more sense to buy a new grinder. The bowl of this grinder is bigger anyway. It's so much easier to use this instead of a full-on food processor for chopping and grinding but also for single crust pie dough and more.

We needed a chopper for our condo, didn't really wanted a big unit so we went with this 4 cup grinder. It works pretty good, powerful enough for smaller jobs or baching larger ones. Much better than those one/ two cup chopper. You need to realize it is not a full size chopper, it will do the job, it will just take a little longer. Doesn't take a lot of space on the shelve, nice.
