I use Fellowes products at both my home and office. I am impressed with the jam resistance of their shredders. Highly recommend their products.

Hopeful Purchase

We had a smaller and less heavy duty shredder and it really worked okay, but I believe lightening killed it (have no way of knowing for sure) and we had only had it less than a year. This shredder seems more durable, holds more paper, and is definitely quieter, which is really nice. The chances of lightening hitting again are not probable, so we hope this shredder lasts and lasts.
I know it has a two year guarantee, but it costs about as much sometimes to ship one back for repair/replace than buying a new one; however, this shredder costs more so we would probably send it back if we had a problem.

So far the shredder is exactly what I need. I read some reviews before purchasing. Some complained of noise level, I don't find it to be too noisy at all. Some complained of jamming problems. It's not designed for heavy duty use so I don't see what the problem is. I just don't overload it. For the price, you can't beat it!

Great product

This is the third purchase of a fellowes shreder. The others performed well. I caused problems by trying to shred something that was impossible to shred. I use the lubricant at least monthly and that helps in the performance.
