Good if careful

Worked good for a lot of shreading, but when reverse was used the machine jammed. It took a lot of picking at the shreaded paper in the machine (from both the top and bottom) to clear the jam. Since then I have used the reverse more often to clear the machine and haven't had any more problems.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Quality Construction, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size
Cons: Sheet Capacity, Mess Reduction, Jam Resistance

So far the shredder has been durable, non jamming. Only complaint would be that the shredded pieces tend to go all over during the emptying of the collection box. Like the fact that it shreds credit cards and staples and has a safety sensor.

Excellent choice

Recently purchased your product and quite honestly didn't do any research on this specific product. Our old shredder (different brand) was the first one that we had ever owned. It was noisy, one sheet at a time feed and had a small waste basket for the shreds. The new P-58cs has been a joy to use. We now keep up with our shredding materials. The P-58cs has been reliable, simple to use and it allows us to be safe because of its built-in safety feature.

Great Shredder

This is my third Fellowes shredder and is the best so far. My first Cross-Cut and I wish I had purchased one before.

Since this is a new shredder, I will rate my former unit. 5-star all around. That is why I am a repeat customer. Would recommend Fellowes products because of my past experience. Have high expectations for my new unit.

Great Machine

This shredder met my requirements for capacity for shredded material and the number of sheets it will shred at once. It is attractive looking in my office and the price was definitely right. I've looked at other makes of shredders, but I will always choose Fellowes. It's an instinct.

The shredder does a fine job shredding. I have shred credit cards and paper so far, have not tried CDs. I find it is rather noisy and very top heavy, but I would highly recommend this model shredder.

An excellent shredder at an affordable price

An excellent shredder for low to moderate home usage. It has a small footprint and low profile so it is not obtrusive. It has nice safety features and is easy to empty.
Shredding 2-3 sheets at a time seems to be it's forte and continuous shredding for a few minutes is not a concern. I did my homework on the Internet, and shopped the local retail store. The decision on purchasing this shredder has prove to be the correct one.
