Best shredder ever

I love my shredder. I works like a dream and quickly shreds. It is much faster that the Royal shredder, which cost more, and died within a year. Thank you for such a fine product.

Suggestion

I like my new shredder,but have a suggistion. I have removed the see-thru window to allow things that don't need to be shreded,to be put in basket. I think it would be a great idea to replace that window with a swing open window,or slot.

A cut above

The Fellowes shredder P58Cs is stronger than any other brand in this range. The cutting mechanism is much sturdier and does not have the corroguated blades of othe brands that seem to be prone to problems. We like the quiet operation and the price was right.

Bad Luck?

After three weeks of intermittent use, the schredder runs continualy. I now have a manual schredder and have to turn it on each time I use it.
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs
Cons: Quality Construction, failed in less than a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad Product

After using this shredder less than a month for only about 5-6 hundred pages it has stopped working. Broken.
total waste of money do not buy this sub standard product for any amount of shred beyond one page a day.

Very good cross- shredder

My overall rating of 4 stars shows that I think this is a very good shredder especially for the price. Since it is only 1 month that I've owned it, I cannot comment on it s durability but its performance is excellent.
Several (minor) criticisms: It is noisey which may be do the higher power motor or lack of noiose-damping "stuff"
The dumping of the "confetti" could have been thought out a bit better- some of it always winds up on the floor
The "oiling" of the blades is a bit messy and it is easy to sprinikle oil on the external cover which then could drip down to the carpet or floor.
Overall I'm quite pleased
