I like the way the paper is shreeded. Its is fine enough that no one could ever put it back to together. The old shreeded I could only put one piece of paper in it and most of the time it jams. This one is so easy to use

Great Priced Shredder

I am not an expert on shredders. At my place of business, I inherited 100lbs of old files that needed to be shredded, and a little shredder that broke down after about 50 sheets.
While the P-58Cs has many great features like SafeSense, cross-cuts, and protects itself from overheating, I feel the greatest attribute is its pure durability. It quickly shredded through my boxes of files, and did not breakdown like the previous office shredder.
I'm very impressed!
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Warranty, Service Guarantee, Safety Features
Cons: Mess Reduction, Quiet Operation

LONG cool off

cool off period seemed longer than 15; slows up if paper not in straight. (My old shredder didn't have problems with that.). Fairly messy in terms of shreds on the floor. But in terms of "shredding quality" it does the job.

Shredder is heavy and seems quite durable. However it is noisy when in use. Have owned it about a year. Have had no problems with jamming. Works well.

not worth the money

This should be a better product for the money. The manufacturer says it should be oiled monthly regardless of use. That is not realistic. The gears easily fail even with limited use. It will not feed even though the motor runs. This is not a "consumer" issue. It is a design flaw. Even with light use, it will fail over time.

Being used at work. Quite, smooth operation. Hasn't jammed yet - shredding hundreds of papers/day!

Very good deal

I have not been aquainted with this shredder very long, but I like it already. It does the job I got it for, with no complaints. It is not too noisy, and it works the way it is supposed to! This shredder is quieter than most, and stops when it has nothing to shredd. I haven't tried to shredd credit cards, yet, but I'm sure it will do that, too. I like that it shredds several sheets at a time, and I don't have to sit in front of it for a long time. Sometimes we have a lot to shredd, and it doesn't take forever. I am very happy with this machine; I would recommend it to all small businesses.

A big step up

Much quieter than our last shredder and it can handle more sheets. Doesn't sound like it is straining when it operates. However, we still have to lift the top off to empty the bin, it looked like it had a slide out bin in the picture.
