Right size

Needed a compact shredder for my and this unit fit the bill. It is fairly quite fast. I plan on moving ti to my RV for on the road shredding.

like the window that allows you to see when the shredder needs emptied. would be nice if it had a tip out or slide out basket, the motor is quite heavy to lift when you have to empty the basket. does get a little messy when you have to lift motor off to empty

it shreds like a dream. it keeps up with the amount of paperwork these days we have to shred easily.

I have owned this shredder for 2 weeks now and is comporable to my previous mid-duty shredder. It does seem to jam when putting through a junk mail envelope and I would use a slightly bigger bin to collect the shredded paper.
Pros: Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Secure Cut Size
Cons: Sheet Capacity, Quiet Operation, Jam Resistance

Peace of mind

Unhappy with product

My shredder, despite maintaining it as explained in the manual, just didn't stand up to home use. The switch to turn it to reverse and forward broke off also.
Cons: Mess Reduction, Jam Resistance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heavy Duty

I bought this shredder because it was highly recommended by colleges. My previous shredder lasted only 1 year. This unit is HEAVY DUTY. Gears and blades do a great job of chopping up paper, staples and credit cards. It is not as noisey as others have stated and I have it sitting right next to me.

Cons: Sheet Capacity, wish i had bought higher capacity.
