Disappointing

I have had mine for about 6 months. In that time I don't feel that it has worked to it's capacity
I have a SD Card with over 700 photos on it and the frame only shows 50 (at tops) photos, always in the exact same order... they should all play randomly
I'm very disappointed
Pros: the photos are crisp and clear
Cons: difficult to set up, the remote is finicky
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not play all pictures on SD or USB

I have always had Phillips products and have been pleased. I was really disappointed when I got the 8D DPF photo frame. It does not have an internal memory to speak of. Also, it does not play all the pictures on my SD cards or USB stick.
Pros: love the style
Cons: does not work as advertised, no internal memory
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it will only play 3 photos, says there is only 9 photos available, even though my sd card has 40 photos. not easy to upload photos.

This photo frame was really easy to set up just open plug in and hang. What i didnt like about this product is that it did not come with a USB and not much storage space. I do have my own USB but the photo frame only displays 10 pictures out of all the pictures I have in my USB. I will try buying a new usb and rescanning all my picures. Other then that I like that you can turn the screen into a clock and the remote for easier use
Pros: remote, smart energy saver
Cons: little storage space, no usb
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too difficult to setup. Once set up it works great.

I would not recommend this produce because of the difficulty in using the remote. Way to slow and complicated.
I cannot find the instructions to this unit. The product is very difficult to manipulate and very slow to respond to the remote.
Pros: great display
Cons: too difficult to set up

The clarity is sharp. Options for timing and fades are good. I'd like to see a setting for more random showing. It seems to group dates together, but that's okay.
Pros: clear, easy to set up
