Hello.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and would like to kindly inform you the software that you print from is the one that is responsible for providing label sizes. If you print from our DYMO Connect Software, please click NEW(top-left) and under Label Type you will see all the label sizes that are compatible with the printer then you can select the correct one.

If you are printing from our DYMO Label Software, please click Labels and under Label Types, you will see all your sizes there. We recommend reaching out to your software provider if you are not printing from either DYMO Label or DYMO Connect.

From garbage to GREAT!

Earlier I gave it a one star and said it was garbage BUT later I downloaded a version 8 and DELETED the version 10 from before and NOW it works GREAT!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't Find DYMO Label Software v8.7.4

I'm trying to download DYMO Label Software v8.7.4 from the website, and the download fails. The new software doesn't work with it, and I'm getting tired of not being able to print labels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice compact printer, but only with DYMO software

The DYMO Labelwriter 450 Turbo is a nice compact printer. I have used it in the Apple ecosystem, but unfortunately it only seems to function properly with DYMO software, which isn't that great. I have been looking for ways to print address labels directly from the Contacts app under macOS, but it never works. Standard address label LW 28x89 mm should print in portrait layout but the machine only prints in landscape. This is horrible and I haven't ever gotten a response to my support request about this from DYMO. So, great printer, but bad driver support, which results in an average product rating. Could be better if the driver issues would be addressed (pun intended).

Regarding your concern about printing directly from the Contacts app under macOS, the DYMO LabelWriter is optimized to function with DYMO software for the best results. While integration with third-party applications is limited, we recommend exploring our software’s "Import Data" feature, which allows you to import and print contact information seamlessly.

As for the misalignment and orientation issues, please ensure the label size and orientation are selected correctly in the software settings before printing. You can verify these under Page Setup or Printer Properties.

Awful software!

Great device, software is a total loss. The previous software was great, easy and to the point. This recent software if more like a print suite for Cricut. Printer not even recognized any longer, regardless of how many times website software is reinstalled. Drivers? lol good luck with that. I wish I physically had the software on a disc so I could set it afire. Software must have been written by FB dropouts or some defunct app-mill. Hate to see such a great name be ruined by such shoddy programming. If you can improve program design, leave it alone till you can put out an actual useful tool. Had a great product and have since bricked it due to poor software. I hope someone loses their position of this oversight.

The Printer is Great. The Software is Not

We have Five of these. Everyone likes it. It makes our jobs easier... EXCEPT!!!
The software is horrible. It keeps resetting the size of the type, and the format cannot be locked down despite a setting to that effect. You have to format before you do anything else. You cannot make changes to any formatting on-the-fly.
Worse, reinstalling the software does nothing to improve matters. You need to reset all your presets from memory before you can use it.

Great printer, be sure to use Dymo Label v8.7.4

We've had this printer in use for years, and are very pleased with it. When changing the PC, we downloaded the Dymo Connect software. This is horrible compared to the previous software we used. The software seems to start up on its own if we leave the computer. Worse, it caused a lot slower label output print speed and no possibility to review the stored labels on the left side of the application. Thank god we found the good old Dymo Label v8.7.4 on your download page, it saved us buying a new product from a different vendor. Our product rating is for the software, the printer is excellent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To avoid the application from opening on its own, on Windows, please go to Task Manager, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, then click the Startup tab. Select any program in the list and click the Disable button if you don't want it to run on startup.
