Love my new fridge

We have had this refrigerator for 4 months. We love the bottom freezer--no more bending over to find what I'm looking for in the refrigerator compartment. It is also very quiet.

Having the freezer on the bottom and a clean, open, bright refrigerator on the top is a wonderful design. Clean lines, sleek look. Love it.

No more frustration

I can't count the number of times I have slammed the door on our old top freezer model because I couldn't find something that was supposed to be in the frig (my wife would then come out and spend time digging thru it and find it). No more.Great value for the price.

Ice Build Up In Freezer

So sorry I bought this product. My refrigerator is only about 2 years old. Last month ice had built up so thick across the bottom of the freezer compartment that I could not pull out the freezer rack. It seems that many other customers have experienced this same problem. Serious design flaw that needs to be corrected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Same Water Leak from Freezer

My freezer also gets the layer of ice on the bottom that water drips over down onto the floor! Why hasn't Whirlpool posted how to fix it?!! I can't see it in the owner's manual or a reply to any of the other complaints. Only reason I can think of is because it can't be fixed like one person said! Elsewhere online it said to take the back of the fridge off to thaw the drain line, but that seems like a big job and I want to be sure I should even do that! Whirlpool please advise us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loave the bottom freezer -

Overall, this frig is very easy to use. the only feature I would like is a meat tray which I didn't order, thought it came with. Not to worry, I put a extra rubbermaid tray just for lunch meats, etc and it works perfectly. the next product I purchase for my home will definately be a Whirlpool product. Thanks

Bottom freezer good idea quiet running, humidity drawers for meats and veggies, very nice features, blends in with the rest of my kitchen Most of all energy savings
