This product just doesn't have enough high temperature to cut the tuff jobs.

I purchased the pocket steamer for Christmas after viewing infomercial after infomercial... I was euphoric about not having to use harsh cleaners. My experience was less than euphoric when I first began to use it.... It never got hot enough, and it started leaking through the trigger handle when it did get hot...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this 7 years ago and have used it almost everyday since then. The poor thing finally gave out yesterday. Definitely purchasing another one this evening!

My daughter bought a new home and wanted to sanitize everything, so I loaned her my new Shark hand held steamer... we tried for 3 days to get it to produce some steam and got NOTHING...not even a spurt...I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with the lack of any semblance of steam being produced. Luckily my Haan hand steamer which I've had for almost 10 years came to the rescue.

Portable-Steampocket is a fantastic machine!

I bought a Portable-Steampocket machine about 10 yrs ago and I still use and I love it more each time I use it!
The only downside is that it's no longer manufactured because I'd love to gift the portable steampocket machine and kit to several people I know that will appreciate easier cleaning and without using chemicals!

I did deduct one star in the design area because there is not an option to have continuous steam unless one hand is used to hold the steam-release trigger down. Which means my other hand has to either hold the hose/attachment OR support myself on the stepladder OR scrape.
**My friend did come up with a great idea! He wrapped a twisty-tie around the trigger so it continuously releases steam so I can free my hands to clean and steady myself!!**
*I'd like to see another hose sold that is 1ft longer so I can stand on the stepladder to clean my windows but leave the machine on the floor so I don't have to hold it*
*Or a clip to attach it to the edge of the stepladder OR windowseal*

Fantastic accessories

Did an excellent job as long as it worked. unfortunately that was for 2 weeks to 45 days and after purchasing three I gave up on you please please make this thing right as we need it now

You should only use Distilled water. That should be made very clear on the box, and in the instructions. I don't recall seeing Distilled water in the instructions, it could be a byline.
