This product does not clean my dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to competely remove all food from any item I place in the dish washer. I literally have to wash each dish 1st. I had your repairman come out and he said to remove any residue before placing in the dishwasher. He also said I was using too much dish soap that this was causing the glass items to have a film on them. I have gone to the Cascade Complete pacs with Dawn. This has helped somewhat. I would not recommend this to anyone and if I could afford it I would replace it with another manufactuers product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this replacement unit during my kitchen remodel. This was an upgrade from the previous unit. It works much better, quietier and saves on power/water useage. Great unit.

It is a very nice dishwasher

We have had it for six years. It cleans very well. We rarely rinse anything off before placing the item into the dishwasher and it cleans it. The dishwasher has a problem with starch in pots. Otherwise it works effectively. I had to replace the water inlet valve this year ($20 part and 1 hour work). No other issues with the dishwasher.

I thought it would do a better job cleaning dishes

I bought this dishwasher 5 months ago and am already having problems with it not cleaning very well and the control panel is difficult to operate and has just failed on me. Much like my profile microwave I installed 2 years ago and my refrigerator all of which are GE profile. You pay allot more and seem to get less quality!
