This compactor replaced a G.E. that was 30 years old! I think that this new one will outlive me. Very quiet and efficient. I couldn't be happier.

I bought this a few months ago. Still works. It is feature poor for the price though. No fan, no extended compact function like many have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been very happy with our new compactor. I was keeping my old one on hand in case I needed to go back. Definitely do not need to keep the old one - very happy with the new compactor. Very easy to open & compact. Like all features - Very Happy

My Homeowners Insurance replace my old Compactor with a GE Compactor.
I have only been using it for a week. It looks great. I like how the bags has holes to put on to the hooks that are on the side of the Compactor so that the bags don't fall down into the bin
