Easy Installation

The battery replacement for our rack mount UPS was easy and straightforward. The extra cost to purchase the batteries ready to install (instead of requiring removing the connections/cables from the old batteries and installing them on the new batteries) was very worthwhile.
The ability to recycle the batteries at a nearby Staples store was an added bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am trying to get batteries. Everything I read in the webpage is for batteries. The picture is for a battery cartridge that hold 4 batteries. I severely hate confusion and stupidity. If it is a battery then I should see RBC43 batteries itself.
Cons: Too Expensive, Part Failure, Not Fast Enough, Lacking Vendor Support, Low Confidence in 24/7 Uptime
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for the feedback. We apologize for any confusion the images may have caused. The RBC43 is installed in certain rackmount models and it is made up of battery cartridges installed in a battery tray. Please use our battery selector tool to find the correct replacement battery for your UPS.

Received replacement cartridge promptly. Installation was quickly accomplished following enclosed instructions. Very pleased with product.

I've purchased refurbished batteries before, and they never last as long or work as well as the APC brand. It's definitely worth the higher price. Installation is simple and quick.

Second order got the correct battery. Order showed up but now return mailing for battery disposal. They brag about this when calling in on hold as to why purchase from APC but when you do they forget that part. I you want to dispose of the battery you must call an E-waste company or deliver yourself or you could make several phone calls and e-mails to APC and get the UPS return label. So if the deal is better somewhere else you might want to take it.
