This Range "rocks"

We replaced our older GE range with the Calrod elements. This new design with a smooth cook-top surface has all the bells & whistles you would expect in a modern appliance. The electronic display is easy to use. Do I have GE stock? No, but I highly recommend this model for value and price.

Good Product,but....

Been a long time customer of GE kitchen products and didn't hestiate to buy this electric range. I'm satisfied with the overall operation and there are plenty of nice features. But, this is my first stainless steel appliance and it shows every finger print. The front touch pad is very sensitive and turns on at the slightest brush. Also, this is a slide-in model and is shorter than our previous 10 year old range and now we have a gap in our granite countertop. Yes, they sell a backsplash add-on to cover the gap, but it's ugly and only comes in black. We had to hire someone to make us a 2 inch matching granite cover. But,,, you live and learn and I'm basically happy with the overall purchase.

Looks great, Cooks great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new stove and looked at several but couldn't decide until I came home and did research online.I was leaning towards the GE because of the features and its looks, but once I read the reviews my mind was made up! I have been using my range for almost a year now and love it! I was afraid the glass cooktop would be hard to clean, but so far it has not been a problem. I love how fast it boils water, and the extra oven rack for baking cookies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought his unit to replace an existing cook top and early 80's oven that was way to small. My wife loves to bake and this was the perfect oven for us. The convection feature and the bridged heating elements were the 2 selling points but it continues to get better and better. We couldn't be happier with our purchase

Great looks, good features with convection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this range. Minor negatives are- slow cool-down of the oven after use and there is usually a slight fan noise as it cools down.

My new range cooks and bakes wonderfully

I looked around at other ranges and this GE has some features that more expensive models have. I also did research online. I trust GE to make quality appliances and I am not disappointed.
One problem is that the touch pad controls are sensitive and too easily activated when cooking. It becomes less of a problem once you are aware of this and know what to do.
Although I haven't had this range long, I am an experienced cook and know when I have an appliance that will work well for me.
I think you will be pleased with this range. I recommend it.
