Not getting what I pay for

HP says you should get 2200 pages from this ink cartridge. I'm not getting that at all. I don't print that much and they run out quickly. For the price I pay I should get what I'm supposed to. I'm not happy. It's the same for the color cartridges too. They aren't expected to give 2200 pages but they run out really quick. What's going on?

Like the longer lasting cartridges

I like the XL ink cartridges because they last longer, which means changing them less often. I also appreciate the quality of the ink.
