More expensive than oil.

The 940XL cartridge is of good quality, but is so expensive that I am seriously considering buying cartridges elsewhere. For the amount of ink that you receive in these cartridges, if you don't print numerous items every day it would be advantageous to go with a laser printer. You waste more ink with all the head cleaning cycles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My all-in-one printer won't work with anything but HP cartridges. But they always perform well.
