This product let me down this time.

While I have used HP ink for about 2 years, this time it disappointed me. I am showing an almost full cartridge of cyan ink, but either it is clogged, or it is giving a false reading. Now I have to go out and get some more just to finish my project, because I thought I had plenty!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The 940XL black ink lasts longer than any other cartridge I have used. I'm a teacher and constantly printing work for my my students as well as repoerts for school and parents not to mention personal work for home. The ink never blots or smears. Always clear and crisp. Fantastic value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

940 3-Pack Ink works well

I have had my HP 8500 Pro printer for a few years and have used only the HP Ink in my printer. I have never had a problem. The ink cartridges have lasted well and provided me with good quality prints through-out their live times. I haven't counted pages but these regular capacity cartridges seem to last me about a year in my usage. I do use the XL cartridges for the black ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

some disappointments

The ink is good. I do not like the fact that I was not informed on purchase that the black ink does not work without the color ink. It does not matter if only one color ink is empty. I am very disappointed in this.
Normally, I love to purchase the HP printers above any other.
The inks are also costly. I purchased first one yellow, then right after that the cyan went, and then another day the magenta so then I purchased the combo pack. I fear now that I will soon have to purchase print heads.
I have had various HP printers, but although it prints great, this is the one that I am most disappointed in. It is costly, especially when you are a student.
I did have some difficulty finding the proper combo package.
Otherwise, I love HP printers

Doesn't come near making 2200 copies

I have ordered these cartridges because they fit into my HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus Printer. I don't know of other choices, but the cartridges Do Not make anywhere near 2200 copies....My printer prints a report of how many copies have been printed. I had my original cartridges another set of non-XL, a set of XL, and now my second set of XL since my printer was new. Totally my printer has only printed 2097 copies. No, nowhere near the advertized number of copies for either the regular 940 nor the 940 XL.! Any suggestions?
