I got this camera from my kids for my birthday. It's great around the water, able to use it tubing, snorkling, and take super pictures. I really love the UW color correction setting, no post editing required.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
I brought daughter #1 a D10 and had to buy another for daughter #2. They love 'em and both take great pics & videos. We own kayaks and spend lots of time in the locals creeks & rivers. Love the toughness and the beautiful underwater pics. One D10 looks like it spent a tour of duty in Iraq but it has never failed. One was "lost" in the freezer for a full month and when found it took a picture right out of the freezer. It thawed out and works fine. They are worth the fancy price.
Pros: Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I love this camera! I am in no way a pro at taking pictures, however this camera made me feel like one. It is extremely user friendly. I took it to the beach this year. It took excellent beach pictures, as well as pool pictures. The underwater pics from the pool were awesome! The night pics at the pool turned out great! I was able to take it out in the ocean waves to take action shots too! I like the big screen and excellent image quality. It is extremely durable and cleaned up easily by soaking it. It is totally waterproof! Great camera!!
Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Great camera. Excellent because you do not need to worry about getting it wet or bumping it around. A bit bulky but worth the additional size. Low light level pics are ok but the camera excels in bright beach sites. it is an excellent camera.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, a bit bulky but understandable for the what you ge
The Canon D10 worked like a charm and for the price I really can't complain. The only thing I have a hard time adjusting to is the zooming and and out of the lens. I am so used to the other powershots that I have that the controls of the D10 became annoying. Other than that the camera worked perfectly. I took great pictures in and out of the water.
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I take my camera with me every where. You never know when that perfect shot could take place. Powershot D10 is just the one you want, it is durable and easy to use. At 80 mph i am impressed with how it captured everything as if i were standing still. It's my first Canon Camera and I am a customer for life!
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
Last spring it fell of my saddle while I was riding my horse and was lost in the mud in a corral for over a month during which we had a couple of blizzards. When I found it, I cleaned it up, charged the battery and it worked like a charm. It has also been dropped a couple times and works great in 0 degree weather when my other cameras freeze up. I've never used it underwater but it's nice to use around the pool or in the rain and not have to worry about it. I've had it for over two years now and am very happy with the pictures and video. It is my first choice when I take video over my camcorder and other video devices. When I take pictures I don't usually have time to change settings so I'm usually on auto. But, the night setting takes awesome pictures in the dark around the campfire and I have some beautiful pictures using the sun set and fall foliage setting. My other fancier cameras always get left behind and I seem to use this camera for everything. I've also noticed while others are fumbling with a bulkier camera trying to keep it protected, out of the weather, and in a case, I can get some nice shots they're missing out on.
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I wanted a waterproof digital camera and the D10 fills all my expectations. First of all a detailed owners manual came with this camera that explains camera features and how to use them. With cameras getting so many features this is the most important item included with this purchase. Not only does this camera provide digital convience for checking my captured image it also provides functions that I didn't have on my previous SLR's. Light metering is one of the features that I am absolutely thrilled with. Now I can adjust between evaluative, center weighted averaging or spot metering. Other features I found that stand out are videos while sking during 14deg weather. One feature that would improve the camera is the zoom function. Being limited to only 3x optical zoom is disapointing when taking pictures of birds out on a lake. I would like to see a zoom of 10x to bring in objects across water or mountains.
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, durable, Lightweight/Portable, water proof to 30ft
