i really enjoy using this awesome camera...besides being an eye catcher the pictures are outstanding and simple to use.....good job canon
Pros: great images
Cons: accessories are quite expensive

I got this camera because I wanted something I could use underwater that was versatile and gave me some good photos, instead of the ghastly disposable underwater cameras.
I researched and the little D10 seemed to give me all I wanted at the right price.
I took it into the pool over the weekend with my kids for a test drive, and was very impressed with the pictures.
You gotta read the manual--it does a lot more than point and shoot, and knowing how to use all the setting requires a bit of study. I'm a Nikon user, so maybe that made it a little harder for me.

I was excited...

I was sooo excited to get this camera, but after less than 18 hours I found out that the card/battery opener doesn't shut all the way without a lot of work.
ALSO- I was holding it and turned it on, and it right away turned off. Multiple times. And a few times it didn't even turn on.
I don't know what's wrong with it.
I really like the pictures it take and I like a lot of the features- I'm just nervous to submerge it in water like I had hoped to, since I can't afford to take it in to the shop.

Sorry for the lack of details, just wanted to share my love of this wonderful product. Pictures are crisp and clear. All I need now is a way to waterproof my Iphone.

A camra that will WOW you....

If you love adventures, and need a camra, this is it!
Pros: amazing picture and video, great camra for the outdoorzy people, awsome click and twist removable strap
Cons: $130 bucks for the accesories

Display stops working

I was very pleased with this camera until I used it under water (snorkeling, so not very deep). It takes good pictures and has good features. However, the first time I used it under water the display stopped working. The camera still takes pictures, but you cannot see what you are taking a picture of and cannot change any settings, so the camera is essentially worthless now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
