My ISOBAR8ULTRA just sits under my desk, tacked onto the wall. No noise, no drama, no entertainment. Oh, it has three lights. Yippee. They don't even flash. We've had some power outages here with their accompanying return surges. ISOBAR didn't toot, buzz or whistle, and nothing smoked or smelled funny. Can you please outfit the next version with a video screen?

I like the 8 outlets, and the fact it is not all plastic. I purchased this for my bedroom for my sleep number bed. I live in central Florida, and we have many lightning storms. I needed my bed protected. With the high joules I know I am safe.

Excellent power strip

This power strip is very durable and provides excellent protection. After a storm when the power company connected a transformer wrong, my house was surged and almost all my appliances were lost. The power strip did it's job and gave its life to save my computer equipment. None of my electronics were lost due to this power strip.

I suffered one of the worst electrical malfunctions a person can have, a broken neutral line coming into the house from the transformer. I had purchased the Isobar8ultra for my expensive ham radio and computer gear. The main reason for my purchase was to eliminate line noise on the radio gear, not something you find on cheap surge protectors. After the surge from the open neutral some of the cheap plastic surge suppressors that I had melted, it was nothing short of a miracle that my house didn't burn down from the surge. Unfortunately the Isobar was destroyed, but it did protect my expensive gear, and all of the plastic protectors in my house will be replaced with metal cased Isobars. I wish I could post a picture of the Isobar and a plastic surge strip to show the difference, I think others would think twice about using the plastic strips.
