Received this printer. It came with all the parts, but no software CD. It also doesnt work. Hooked it up and had our IT specialist install the software and it never worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a problem with my Epson Workforce GT-1500 Document Scanner. I got in contact with support and before you knew it, they had a new scanner delivered to my home. I am very satisfied with Epson, and that is why I only have Epson products in my office.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The scanner was way too slow for our application. We only got about one document scanned per minute off the machine which was way too slow for our needs. I think it was because of the character recognition in Microsoft Word. If this was not needed it would probably be much faster.
The worst feature about this scanner is that it does not seem to have a run in the background ability. So with a stack of 20 sheets taking 20 minutes, it does not allow the use of the computer for other work. This was not acceptable for our needs in the workplace.
We needed to return it as not meeting our expectations based on the specifications, but it went back without any problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't waste your time. I spent 3hrs trying to get this scanner working and finally said forget it and took it back. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable with computers and software and tried 3 times with loading software and updates.
