[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven was a replacement for a 16 year old GE Profile wall oven where the control board went bad. This oven heats quickly, cooks evenly and is easy to keep clean. The only complaint I have is something that cannot be changed. When we moved into this house we came from a kitchen with a huge oven. This oven is only 27 inches wide. The size restraint for the new oven had to be the same size as the old one - not a fault of the oven. We had a home warranty that would not let us get anything except the same size and features. Again, a really nice oven that works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this oven is as described. Easy to use, easy to clean and easy on the eyes. The only thing I would change is the window - I would prefer the darkened window to the see-through. Although it is rather cool to watch food cooking, I prefer a dark window when the oven is not in use. I have always been pleased with GE ovens. The last one lasted sixteen years and I am looking forward to a long life with this one!

I can already see there have been some great improvements, bigger interior and covered lower unit. I am very pleased with the performance and look forward to many years of use.

Improvement over previous model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an 8 y.o. Profile wall oven that fit the same cabinet opening because it appeared that the self-cleaning controls failed. Rather than have to pay for a service call and the computer control electronics, we bought the standard (non-Profile) model to replace the oven. My wife is thrilled with it ! It appears that the unit insulation has been improved so the inside dimensions are significantly larger - she can easily place standard cookie sheets on the racks where before it was so tight that the edges of the sheet barely slide along the rack guides. She also had to limit the size of turkeys she could bake because of the inside height of the previous model. It appears now that there is a whole lot more space.

Wall Oven 27 inch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 y.o. GE wall oven was wonderfull until the computer/console unit died. We are very happy with our new GE wall oven purchased in Novermber 2012. The interior is easy to clean up & seems larger than my other one. I can fit 2 cookie sheets side-by-side which I couldn't do before. This saves me time & more cookies get baked! The ovens temperature seems to be evenly distibuted thru out which also saves time & energy. I would gladly recommend this oven to anyone.

This item is no longer manufactured but we got a great del on it and installed it ourselves with no problems. Only criticism is the cooling fan runs a long time.
