Just had the ooh top installed and showing a problem, needs a new part! Brand new cooktop that doesn't work! This is the second appliance from Electrolux that I had a problem with. Not happy!!

I have the 30 inch induction cooktop, within 6 months of buying it a 1/4" long crack developed in the center of one of the burners. Electrolux came out to look and tell me, the glass top does not have ANY warranty, only electrical components

Less than 2 years and broken

Bought the 30" model right at two years ago and the back right burner has stopped working and blew smoke at one point from the exhaust. I expect my appliances to break at some point but not within 2 years. On a less important note, it is hard to read the lettering if the cooktop is at all dirty. The lettering and lines for pots could be more pronounced so I don't have to be Martha Stewart clean all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm hoping it's a learning curve because right now I'd return it if I could. Way too touchy. If I add spaghetti to the water so there is more weight, it shuts off and has to cool down before I can restart. Change temp, same thing. Even if I don't touch the pan.

Awesome but...

We've had this cooktop for a month and love it. Simple to operate, wave touch looks and functions perfectly. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the stainless steel bezel around cooktop makes it easy for debris to get wedged under it. Slight design flaw and not a big deal if you're neurotic about cleaning

This is a great state of the art "stove top"

We bought this in May and it is one of the best decisions we have made. It cooks quickly and the controls are really fine tuned. It has some excellent safety features if you have children in the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleek, Clean, and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had the cooktop for a month, but I am impressed with how responsive the stove is when cooking my favorite foods. I have used my stainless steel pans as well as my cast iron pans to cook my meals. Cleaning this cooktop is very easy. My old electric cooktop would cook spilled food directly onto the cooktop making it very hard to clean.
