Samsung Flight: what a pain

I bought this phone in Jan, 2010, it's very hard to get the accept call function to work. It requires proprietary usb cables and even with the PC Studio and usb driver downloaded from the Flight support page it still won't sync with the pc. The phone has very nice features but don't plan on transferring anything between the phone and pc, it will work between the pc and data card.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

its an ok phone, dnt like tha fact that u can't hav a signature for ur texts, n it didnt come wit a USB cord, nor headphones(but its a BRAND NEW phone)...I LOVE SAMSUNG PHONES! but this 1 is not all that! i had a Samsung Impression...now that was a GREAT phone!!!
Pros: Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but needs improvement

Pros- slide up to expose keyboard, functions well for my needs
Cons-When searching the internet sometimes it will not respond to where I touch
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

I got an upgrade to this phone, and not a month later I had to replace it, Now its starting to do the samething as before when i had to replace it. I've had better phones than this before and they were all samsungs, so I dont know why this one doesnt work. Also, all the people I know who have this phone, Hate it also...
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Features are limited, voicemails, texts and messages come anywhere from minutes to days later, keypad is too small and design of phone causes unintentional hang ups when on a call.
Pros: Durable, easy to throw across room
Cons: Poor quality, ashamed to be seen using in public

I got the flight two and a half weeks ago for free for signing up for another two year contract, It was great at first i loved having a touch screen and the keyboard, It doesnt do a whole lot but that doesnt bother me it started echoing during calls but I dont make many calls so i over looked that too, and then it stoped charging I tryed everything you could think of I havent droped my phone and I had to only use the charger one other time there's no explanation for why it stopped working. Do your self a favor and pick another phone this one isnt worth it I'm returning it tomorrow!

I got this phone for christmas and already the touch screen is reading what I press wrong I liked it when I got it but now it's worse than my old phone.

Almost a good phone

Purchased the A797 for my son to use as phone/MP3 player but come to find out there is no external headphone jack. Only the Samsung headphones are compatible and no adapter is readily available for the phone. My son did not like the Samsung headphones, they were uncomfortable and did not like the sound quality.
