NOt very customizable

While the main functions of the phone are nice, it lacks the ability to customize it to your personal tastes, specifically the inability to change the 5 or so random pics it uses as a screen saver when you lock the phone, you get these lame generic pics, and you can not change them to anything you would find appealing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is a good phone, but looking at it the software has afew problems. the main one is that its not a very customizeable phone as far as functions, displays , and settings. given that its a newly realesed phone i expect software updates to be forthcoming to make the phones functions and settings more personalizable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First phone not to have an operational manual

I like this phone, and I also bought one for my husband and he was disappointed that there wasn't a manual, usb cable or software to share things to the computer. He just uses it as a charger to charge my battery and uses his Motorola phone.
Pros: keyboard
Cons: Did not meet expectations

This phone will do everything it is designed to do and do it very well.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, ease of use

now just frustrated with the phone..

had sprint and loved my phone and service but my spouse had att so we went for the family plan with them and cancelled my sprint service.I wanted a phone similar to the one I had with sprint so I found the samsung flight looked good loved the touch screen, thought bout it for a few hours in the store and decided on the phone. Got it home worked great for all of a week then everytime I would type a text message my phone would add all these crazy letters and numbers on its own..aggravated?? definately! As if thats not a pain I had a plastic screen protector on it and then the touch screen quit working so I took the protector sheet off and it still wont work. The only application that works is the (dial) button. I try to hit any other button and it selects (dial) again. SO if I get a text message or need to look up a number I cant. I have tryed to take the battery out and re-upload the phone yeah that doesnt work. I havent dropped my phone or got it wet nothing it still looks pretty dang brand new.. Very dissapointed not sure if I even wanna get a replacement. A phone that has only touch screen is prob. a bad idea from the beginning!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scary Sensitive LED Screen

We purchased this phone and the clear, hard plastic case for my soon to be 16 year old son. The screen died within 7 days of using the phone. No he did not sit on it and no he did not drop it. The plastic case is well intact and there are NO signs of damage anywhere on the case or phone.
We were sitting in the car, he sent out a text message, closed the keyboard, received a text, reopened keyboard and saw the screen was pink. He proceeded to respond to text message and I suggested he restart the phone. Once the phone restarted, the screen was black with a couple of colored stripes down towards the keyboard.
We attempted to return the phone and get a new one but was accused of everything under the sun including keys being pressed onto the screen. So I STRONGLY suggest everyone be extra careful when it comes to the screen. Don't bother purcashing the case for it because it obviously doesn't protect the phone!

when me and my husband upgraded last i wanted a touch screen. the representative told us this would be an deal phone for me since i really didn't want a smartphone. the first phone i got gave me a few problems but after we got it replaced my new one has done incredible. i have a two and four year old who love to sneak mommy's phone and draw with the drawing tool, listen to my music on it, or look at the pictures an videos on the phone and card. this phone has really went above and beyond my expectations. it has survived my family with flying colors.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, ease of navigating menus
I would recommend this to a friend!
