I see that multiple reviews seem to indicate the same thing. That the microwave is terrible. It is less than 5 years since we bought the product and the inside paint is peeling off completely and falling off in the food being cooked. We had the change the circuit board since it would start off on its own. We bought this product because we believed in GE and that it would make quality products. What is the recourse for the owners? Also is the peeling paint dangerous?

Extremely disappointed with the purchase

We bought the microwave oven combo unit less than 5 years back. We have had constant issues with the microwave. The circuit board gave way and would start the microwave all on its own. We had to pay to replace the circuit board. The paint is peeling all over the microwave paving way for it to be a health hazard. How can GE product have such a low quality?

Love the convection oven feature!

We purchased this unit it 2007 and never had any issues with it ever. The mirco was perfect and easy to clean. The oven always heated thoroughly and was a serious workhorse for us. Super sad to leave it behind when we moved.

Microwave Turntable stopped turning

It was made in 2011 and seldom used. Starting from 2018, the microwave turntable motor only turns when the turntable is removed.

Wall Microwave/Oven Combo - Paint Peeling Off

Overall the unit is serving day to day needs but microwave cavity paint peels off easily posing health hazards. In addition (1) the interior of the Microwave oven is rusting and (2) the door panel is cracking in multiple locations.
