There is great pleasure in using the right tool for the job. I feel that way about my dryer (and washer, too). Press the LED light to indicate the combination of time and temperature you want - or go with the automated details for the kind of load you are drying. It's quiet and chimes when it's finished. I like to be gently summoned. I hope these well-designed machines will be with me for a long time.

Love My Electrolux

We purchased both the IQ-Touch Washer and Dryer and have found them to be amazing. We really like the steam feature and the bulky bedding cycles on the dryer. Both washer and dryer are fast and efficient. Although I always try to remember to clean the lint filter one day I forgot and it gave me a message to clean the filter another nice feature for both is that we watch TV in the same room and when they are on, they are so quiet we can hear the TV without having to increase the volume. Many nice features and would recommend these products to our friends.

Love my Electrolux!

I got both the washer and the dryer and both are so quiet I hardly know they are running. The refresh with steam is great since I am always leaving stuff in the dryer.

Nice and quiet

We have the washer and dryer in a closet by the kitchen. The noise when both are running is not a problem. We had one service call after the mrs pushed a sock into the lint filter area. Definitely operator error. The only problem I have with it is that the door keeps popping open. This maybe a problem with most front loaders doors. A stronger manual outside latch would be a good idea.

Dryer Boy

On the plus side, I like the feature and controls.
One complaint is that the maximum temp is not very hot compare to my old dryer. (Yes the exhaust pipes have been cleaned). It takes a long time to dry towels and heavier items.
Also the door latch broke after 3 months. It was repaired for free under warranty, but it makes me question quality now that the warranty has expired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

problems within 16 months

Tthe dryer itself worked fine. Not any better, however, than the much lower-priced dryer I replaced. Within the first 16 months the dryer stopped working. I had purchased an extended warranty through the store I bought the dryer from, a locally-owned business. That was my first mistake. Purchase the extended warranty through Electrolux. The local company could not send a tech for two weeks. I called Electrolux to find out that parts were still under the original warranty during the second year, and they kindly issued a voucher to cover the labor. They also arranged for a tech to come the same day. That all sounds good, except he came and said it needed new rollers. They had to be ordered. The local warehouse only had two, so the other three had to be ordered. It took another two weeks for them to come in, so I ended up being without the dryer for one month. While Electrolux went above and beyond to help me get the issue corrected, I would not recommend the dryer because I feel that a dryer of this price range should not be breaking down within 16 months of purchase in a home that has two empty-nesters and a minimal amount of laundry loads.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gas dryer does not dry

I have to run the dryer at least two times to dry my clothes. Towels are the worst. What is the deal. i spend more money running it than an electric one and i am considering getting rid of this dryer for an electric one and the gas dryer is only 2 years old

Pleased with the large dryer so far!

Overall the large dryer is great and I am able to dry my queen size comforter at home instead of at the laudromat. The only problem is I purchased a new bath rug and it got caught on the lint filter handle while drying and made a couple of one inch slits in the rug.
