hard to use, bad design

The design is terrible. Plastic tank cap keeps coming off and eventually would break. Can't get all the liquid out of tank and probably could get germs in there. The main complaint is that the item was bought in June and by September has stopped working. You be the judge if you want to buy this product.
Pros: none
Cons: bad design hard to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is truly a life changing product. I just had my quarterly dental cleaning and check-up. My "numbers" continue to improve significantly with less redness and bleeding. My hygenist can't believe the transition since I began using the air flosser. Way to go Sonicare.
Pros: easy & fun to use.
Cons: reservoir is a bit too small.

Great flosser but bad nozzle attachment.

I've had the Philips AirFloss for about 8 months. It works exceptionally well, except the nozzle doesn't remained attached to the handle well. The nozzle either partially pops out, whereby spraying liquid everywhere, or the nozzle shoots totally out of the handle with a little force. A major inconvenience! In order to counter the nozzle problem, you must constantly hold the nozzle with your free hand. If it wasn't for this design problem, I'd wholeheartedly recommended the AirFloss.
Pros: blasts food/plaque from between teeth very well.
Cons: nozzle disconnects constantly, two-handed operation always

I love this product. I am a registered dental hygienist and recommend this product on a daily basis. I have purchased six so far and have given them as gifts. My husband has large hands and still has his wisdom teeth making it difficult for him to use string floss. The only thing I have been able to get him to use is the airfloss. I think it is a terrific product for geriatric patients, people that wouldn't normally floss, those with large hands, people with implants, etc. Another great job Philips!
