Doesn't work

Right out of the box, plugged in the charger, charged it for 24 hours. 3 green lights were on indicating full charge.
Unit will not work! Nothing happens!
Not a good first impression.

Every single one breaks

We bought an AirFloss 1 year ago, it dies within 3 months. Ok, we thought...it's new technology. We will wait until they update it.
So, when the new model came out, we bought 3, one for every member of our family.
#1 died in week. We exchanged it at the store.
#2 died a week later. The next day #3 started making the tell-tale sound that said it was on it's last legs.
The replacement for #1? It died a week later.
Now, all of them have been returned for a refund.
When they work, they are amazing. I want SO badly to use this product, but they should not be on the market yet. Phillips obviously rushed to market without proper testing.
It's unfortunate because my trust in the brand has been eroded. I have been a sonicare user for 15 years and have always been a vocal evangelist of them. However, it's going to take a lot to convince me to ever buy an airfloss again.

Quit working after about 9 months.

I enjoyed using it while it worked. I had a dental implant procedure and was told not to use it for a few months after the post was inserted. After a few months the implant was put in place so I was able to use the Air Floss again but it wouldn't work. It won't recharge.
Cons: poor battery system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AIRFLOSS - THE BEST ORAL HYGENE DEVICE EVER!!!

After nearly three years and at least 5 dental cleanings, I've had the best ever feedback from my Oral Hygentist and Dentist in years. I wish this device was available 40 - 50 years ago during which time I resented flossing string being dragged and getting caught on and through my teeth. It's the best thing since toothpaste in a tube.
Pros: easy & fun to use., the best oral feedback ever., the "cleanest" feeling.
Cons: it "wobbles" on the charging stand
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor-Quality

I have used Sonicare toothbrushes for many years and have been extremely pleased with the quality of the toothbrushes; however I am very disappointed with the Airfloss. I purchased model HX8240, the box included two units. I used one at home and one when I traveled. Both units have failed. Great idea; loved the convenience of the unit when it worked. Maybe in a year or two I will try again but for now I would not recommend the Airfloss.
Cons: poor reliability

I can't live without my AirFloss

I absolutely am in love with my AirFloss. I can't go a day without it. It's amazing. I am hoping my newest model lasts longer than others. They just don't seem to have longevity. Other than that it's fantastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Airfloss needs to come with some kind of base, it's unwieldy. I used it 3 times then reached for it on my bathroom counter & it fell over onto its side & the wand broke, jaggedly, near its base! Concept is good, but not as designed. Waste of $$...

This is a fantastic concept and WHEN it works, gets great results. Patients can easily handle it and get to challenging places with ease like around implants and under fixed bridgework. It also delivers the mouth rinse under the gums which helps kill the bacteria that hide there. I definitely see the results in my patients who use it. Now to the downside. There is a definite issue with performance and quality control in the product itself which needs to be addressed by Phillips ASAP> Several patients have reported that unit upon unit is failing. I encourage them to call your customer service and give feedback. Wake up Phillips!
